Hi, I’m Gabriela! I’m a full-time IT Application Analyst and a part-time student at McGill University, but at my core, I’m someone who has always felt a deep, almost intuitive connection to dogs. I discovered Passion for Paws through social media, and right away, the rescue’s values, compassion, and heart-centered mission deeply resonated with me.

I joined Passion for Paws as a volunteer Content Scheduler, helping organize and plan Instagram Reels so each dog’s story can be shared with intention and care. After losing my own dog to cancer in 2023, volunteering with a rescue became a full-circle moment—one that feels both healing and purposeful. Each dog is so special, and being able to support them in their journey toward a safe, loving home feels truly meaningful.

Being part of Passion for Paws brings a sense of fulfillment that goes beyond volunteering. It’s a reminder that love, presence, and small acts of service can create real change. I’m grateful to contribute my time and energy to a mission that honours every dog and supports them with compassion, patience, and hope.
