About Emma Mazzone - Volunteer & Operations Coordinator

Emma is currently completing her Bachelor’s degree in Behavioural Neuroscience at Concordia University and will continue her academic journey with a Master of Science in Marketing at Concordia. She discovered Passion for Paws through a shared class with the organization’s founder, Olivia, and was immediately inspired by the fact that someone studying alongside her had successfully built a nonprofit rooted in compassion and community impact. After following Passion for Paws on Instagram, Emma quickly applied for volunteer opportunities and was warmly welcomed into the organization.

Now serving as Volunteer & Operations Coordinator, Emma supports volunteer appreciation initiatives, assists with day-to-day operations, and helps plan meaningful events that bring the community together in support of Passion for Paws’ mission. Growing up surrounded by dogs, she has always felt a deep connection to her four-legged companions and remains deeply committed to improving their lives.

Being part of Passion for Paws allows Emma to combine her lifelong love for animals with her passion for community engagement, communication, and impact-driven work. She draws constant inspiration from the positive difference the organization makes in the lives of dogs and families alike. For Emma, this isn’t just volunteering — it’s a long-term commitment to a pack that truly feels like home.
