About Alexandra Poulin - Campaign Coordinator

Alexandra Poulin, currently studying in Medicine at the University of Montreal, discovered Passion for Paws through social media while looking for a volunteer position in a rescue near her. Inspired by our mission, Alex joined as Campaign Manager, where she reaches out to our PFP pack when we have events and to give them information about our dogs.

Having grown up with dogs and never knowing life without them, Alex has always felt a deep connection to animal welfare. She currently shares her life with three rescue dogs, each with a powerful story of resilience: Kylie, rescued as a puppy from the streets of Northern Quebec; Nell, saved after being discarded by a breeder for being “unsellable”; and Tucker, a former puppy mill dog taken in as a palliative foster who is now thriving years later. After seeing firsthand how rescue can completely change a dog’s life, and knowing she couldn’t take in any more dogs herself, Alex felt drawn to help in another way. Volunteering at Passion for Paws has been especially meaningful to her because it allows her to be part of giving dogs a second chance, even when their stories begin in the hardest circumstances. Being able to support this mission and help connect dogs with the families they deserve is something she is truly passionate about.
